Cancer and the moon’s little postman
An original little fable about being there for someone.
A little crab wrote its thoughts in the sand each night. The tide always took the words away. Perhaps nobody had read them, it thought.
One evening the moon sent a bunny postman with a smooth stone. On it were the words: “I saw you. You tried so hard today.”
The crab kept the stone by its door. It still wrote, but no longer worried about the tide. Being there can be as quiet as noticing.
