Would You Move to Another City for Love? How Each Zodiac Sign Answers
Some say yes in a second, some calculate rent and commute first, and some ask why you can't move instead. A move says a lot about how someone loves.
Friday night at a hot pot place, Jay set down the ladle and announced: quitting next month, moving to Kaohsiung. The table went quiet for three seconds. Someone asked, "For her?" Jay nodded and dropped a slice of beef into the pot, as casually as if mentioning rain tomorrow.
Moving for someone means leaving a lot behind: your breakfast shop, the gym you hit after work, friends you can meet on foot. Faced with this question, some signs say yes right away, some need to work out rent and commute times first, and some flip it around: "Why don't you move here?"
Aries: The apartment is rented before the bags are packed
Three days of browsing rental listings, and on the fourth Aries calls a landlord. Once Aries decides to move, it happens so fast your family hasn't even processed it. New places don't scare them. Jobs can be found, streets can be learned. What they can't stand is staying a high-speed rail ride apart, checking train times just to see you.
Taurus: "Let me think about it," and then six months pass
Ask Taurus if they'd move to your city and they go quiet first. Then they open a notebook and write down rent, work, and how far it is from their parents. They're open to changing for you, but their life was built brick by brick, and they'd even miss their usual braised pork rice place. If you're waiting for a yes, give them time, and take them out for some great meals in your city.
Gemini: A new city? Sounds fun
"Tainan? Sure, I've always wanted to live there." Gemini agrees easily, and in the first week they've already mapped out the snack stalls on three different lanes. They treat moving like a new experiment. As long as there's something fresh and there's you, they'll make friends fast. Every now and then, late at night, they'll admit they miss the old crew.
Cancer: First, they go home for dinner
When Cancer thinks about moving, their parents come to mind first. They go home for dinner, bring it up haltingly, and watch Mom's face. Family comes first for Cancer, and leaving that familiar kitchen feels like pulling a tooth. But once the family is okay with it, they'll treat your city as a second home, down to greeting the vegetable lady at the end of your lane.
Leo: If they move, they move with style
Leo won't just pack up quietly. They want a job there that's at least as good as the current one, ideally with a better title. Leo cares about standing on their own feet in a new city and doesn't want to be known as the one who followed a partner. Once they're ready, they'll throw a big farewell party and become the center of things all over again in your city.
Virgo: One comparison sheet, three months of prep
Virgo has a spreadsheet on their phone: rent in both cities, commute times, distance to hospitals and supermarkets, job prospects. They will move for you, just not in a rush. Every step is mapped out ahead of time, so by moving day they'll know which internet provider to call and what time the garbage truck comes. All you have to do is wait on the platform.
Libra: Torn between both sides, so they stay in the middle
"What if we meet halfway and move to Taichung?" Libra is quick to suggest a compromise where both commutes are about the same. They don't want to disappoint you or their friends, so they look for a spot where no one loses. Fairness matters a lot to Libra. If you tell them what you honestly want first, it's easier for them to decide.
Scorpio: Once they decide, there's no going back
Scorpio rarely says, "I'll think about it." They go quiet for so long you assume the idea is dead. Then one day they hand in their resignation and have already paid the deposit on a new place. They either don't go or go all in. To Scorpio, moving is an unspoken promise, and they hope you take it just as seriously.
Sagittarius: Moving doesn't scare them at all
Before you even ask, Sagittarius may have already lived in three cities. Changing places is normal for them, as long as there are mountains or a sea nearby. Jupiter makes them a natural wanderer, but they also hate feeling tied down. If you want them to move to you, make it clear that coming doesn't mean they can't still travel.
Capricorn: Work gets sorted before the address does
Capricorn takes this seriously, and the order is usually: job, income, then where to live. Saturn has taught them that if two people want to last, neither should give up their career. They might say, "Give me one more year." They really are preparing during that year. They're not stalling.
Aquarius: Anywhere works, as long as there's Wi-Fi
"My company lets me work remotely. Location doesn't matter." Aquarius isn't very attached to any city. Wherever the laptop opens becomes the office. Their mind is rarely tied to one address, and they might even suggest you both move somewhere new. They do need a room of their own, though, so settle that early.
Pisces: Wherever you are is where they want to be
You say on the phone, "I wish I could see you every day," and the next week they're browsing studios near your place. Pisces may be the fastest to melt. They follow their feelings, and sometimes they arrive before remembering they haven't found a job yet. If you want to meet them halfway, help them think through the practical side. They'll be grateful.
Byeol Bunny moved house once, and the thing it remembers most is a box of books that sat unopened in the corner of the new room for months. There's no right answer to changing cities, and it's hard on both the one moving and the one waiting. Say out loud the one thing each of you can't let go of, then decide who's packing.
